Best Part of Me
I believe this is one of the best songs I have written to date. The chord progression has a nice flow & I like the drum part I played. ALL DONATIONS/PURCHASES WILL HELP ME PAY FOR MY MOTHER'S MEDICAL & FUNERAL EXPENSES! The blues/jazz ballad is an instrumental with the melody being played on the grand piano with accompanying alto saxaphone. To listen click the link below: The rock ballad, unfortunately I had to sing it. I'm not a vocalist!!!! I used the tools that were available to me at the time. The guitars are keyboard oriented(cheesy sounding) using the effects in my recorder; TASCAM DP01-FX. To listen click the link below: I pray to GOD that through some source a major recording artist re-records the song in their own way, own arrangement, etc. Turns the song into a hit and sends me hundreds of royalty checks for large sums of money! Then I can be a better blessing to others! Thank you!
Lyrics Verse: You know its been such a long, long time When I look back I can see How the hand of fate pulled us a part You know its the way it was meant to be A treasure chest full of memories *A golden space in time The love we shared I cannot replace Although I've tried so many times Chorus: How can a fraction of my life Content me to the end You will always be the very Best Part of Me *my favorite line c 2008 Rick Elliott
